QR Code Bar Code Symbology

QR Code (Quick Response Code) is a 2D type bar code that is used for encoding large amount of data characters; ideal for marking on very small labels or packaging. QR Codes in addition to encoding the full alpha-numeric character set can also to encode Kanji character. The symbology is often used for mobile tagging for product marketing campaigns linking a bar code to a website or other mobile address.
