660nm (Visible, Red) Bar Code Verifier Light Source
Nearly all bar code verifiers use a 660nm (Visible, Red) light source. This is due to the fact that the vast majority of bar code scanners use a laser diode to read/scan a bar code and Bbr code verifiers should inspect the bar code with a color of light that matches the as the bar code scanner that will ultimately scan the bar code.
